Some bulky helmet designs go to your head in all the wrong ways. The Smith Variant Brim Helmet minimizes the bulk without compromising ventilation and protection. It features an adjustable three-stage ventilation system with a vent adjustment slider just beneath the ABS hard shell. The Air Evac 2 channels airflow across your head to help keep you cool but which vents you use depends on the slider position. What makes the Variant Brim unique is the leaner closer profile. This is less helmet material with the same degree of protection that meets or exceeds ASTM F2040F and CE EN 1078 certification standards--except you don't look like a human bubblehead on your skis or snowboard.
